Lace up those running shoes, dust off your earmuffs and get ready to break a sweat. Here is your chance to be proactive against this year’s Turkey-day calories. Join 2008 Olympic Decathlon Gold Medalist Bryan Clay and the Bryan Clay Foundation for the 2nd Annual Fit4Fall 5K Run in Glendora, CA on Saturday November 17, 2012. As one of Southern California’s premier autumn 5K runs, it will be a celebration of fall, fitness and community fellowship you don’t want to miss! Proceeds of the event will benefit the Bryan Clay Foundation in support of its health & wellness programs that benefit the Glendora School District. In light of Thanksgiving and the holiday season, the Foundation will also be partnering with Shepard’s Pantry and New Unto Others to collect canned foods and clothing for families in need. All participants who donate a minimum of three (3) canned goods or one (1) bag of clothing (on race day) will receive five dollars ($5) cash back from their registration fee. Route: Starting at the intersection of N. Glendora Ave/S. Glendora Ave & E. Foothill Blvd/W. Foothill Blvd, runners will begin running north and make a right onto E. Bennet Avenue. Runners will run along E. Bennet Ave. and then make a right onto N. Loraine Ave. and then a right onto E. Mountain View Avenue. Next runners will turn left on S. Cullen Avenue, crossing back over E. Foothill Blvd., and then runners will finish the race with a right on E. Ada Ave. then a right onto S.
