DESCRIPTION:The Donald Brinegar Singers and JPL Chorus will sing new and timeless music. The songs performed embody the enduring spirit of faith\, hope and love in compositions by Morten Laurisden\, Randall Thompson\, Charles Standford\, Sean McLean\, Samuel Barber\, Z. Randall Stroope\n\n\n\n\n\nConductor Donald Brinegar is Professor Emeritus of Music at PCC. He is also director of Choruses for the Pasadena Symphony and POPS. He is an adjunct professor at Cal State Los Angeles Masters Program in Choral conducting. Brinegar has published five books on Choral Music. \n\n\n\nGuest conductors for some of the repertoire presented are Jenny Tisi and Evan Roberts.\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nJenny Tisi has been a music educator and choir director for thirty-four years. Currently\, she directs children's and youth choirs at All Saints Church. Tisi has a Masters in Choral Conducting program at California State University: Los Angeles. She has sung with Seattle Pro Musica and currently sings with The Donald Brinegar Singers.\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nEvan Roberts is Choral Director of the Los Angeles High School for the Performing Arts. \n\n\n\nHe holds Master's degrees in Music Education Research from Indiana University's Jacobs School of Music\, and in Choral Conducting from California State University: Los Angeles.\n\n\n\nAlong with singing with the Donald Brinegar Singers\, he also sings with the Los Angeles Master Chorale and the Contemporary Choral Collective of Los Angeles (C3LA).
